Change Filters

Last updated 3 months ago

The Change Filters option allows you to override your filter settings through JSON parameters. To use this option effectively, you should be comfortable with your data model in order to correctly identify the parameters that you need to change.

For example, consider a Visual that is targeting a Table called Volume Filters; Column Volume and the existing filter is considering all [operator: in] values in Equivalent Volume. With this option, you can change the table, column, and values that are currently being applied to filter that visual.

The Change Filter Settings works in a similar way, but instead of replacing the values in the JSON parameters, it asks you to input the Table, Column, and Value values in a table and then will override your previous filter settings with the new parameters.

The Change Properties allows you to redirect a workspace and report id to a new one, in case your workspace/report has been migrated to a new place.
