Go Click on File -> then options
Select Add-ins:
On the Manage DropDown choose Disabled items (highlighted in red)
Click on Go
Choose PowerBI Tiles
Click on enable and then you start to see PowerBI Tiles tab
PowerBI Tiles Desktop works with Microsoft Report Server, however take into consideration, that PowerBI Tiles does not support the following features:
Reports that requires authentication to access - the report URL needs to be accessed anonymous.
Save filters within the reports (Filters, slicers, and bookmarks) is not supported.
Only the default page is added (it is not possible to target a specific page, only the default one).
There's a know limitation of Microsoft API - the application that renders the visual to PBI Tiles for which DevScope isn't responsible regarding these types of filters. Please find the type of filters that the API currently does not support:
relative date filters without a default value
tuple filters
hierarchy filters
custom (from MS Store) filters
On the right top corner, click on the arrow that shows up when hovering or clicking in the add-in with the mouse.
After clicking, please choose the option Reload.
If that does not work please open the same window again and choose "Attach Debugger"
A new screen show appears. Please go to Application Tab, choose Storage, and click on "Clear site data" to clear the add-in cache in the PowerPoint.
After doing the steps above, please check if the add-in starts normally.
Government accounts are not supported by PowerBI Tiles because of the level of data protection that is required by Microsoft.
