PowerBI Tiles

Power BI Tiles Pro is a product consisting of two components:

• Desktop

• Online

Power BI Tiles Desktop:

This solution allows you to embed your Power BI Visuals into your PowerPoint, Word or Outlook as high-quality screenshots, where you can later update the data of these visuals in a timely manner. Anyone that has access to the file can check the visuals, but only licensed PowerBI Tiles users can add or update data. Since those visuals are imported as screenshots, the slicers and filter options of PowerBI are not available in the final output.

Power BI Tiles Online:

The Online version of Power BI Tiles allows you to embed Power BI visualizations into PowerPoint with live data. With this version, you can manipulate your visuals data as if you were in Power BI online. To have this add-in working with other users after sharing the report, they also need to have a license for Power BI Tiles and access to the workspace on the PowerBI side. You can access it through MS Store in the Insert tab --> Add-Ins --> Get Add-Ins and searching for PowerBI Tiles.

Who should use PowerBI Tiles Pro?

PowerBI Tiles Pro is suited for professionals who need to analyze and present Power BI data regularly. You don’t have to be a Power BI developer or a power user to work with PowerBI Tiles Pro. However, if your job revolves around analyzing and presenting data from Microsoft’s BI platform, PowerBI Tiles Pro is a must-have.
